Types of Logs in Woomelly
Currently, there are four (4) main types of logs/files in the Woomelly plugin. Below, we will explain what information is stored in each of them:
» Error Log
Here all the errors or warnings detected when using the Mercado Libre API are stored. It is normal to find messages in English, as they are taken directly from the official Mercado Libre API. This log is for informational purposes only and is mainly used to detect possible failures in the Woomelly plugin functions. It is important not to confuse this with the store’s error log.
» Automatic Synchronization Log
In this log, the items that have been executed during the cycles of automatic synchronizations are stored. This applies to synchronizations from WooCommerce to Mercado Libre as well as from Mercado Libre to WooCommerce. The most important thing about this log is to ensure that the cycles always start and finish correctly. In this way, we can identify if the process is being carried out successfully.
This log is informational and helps us verify if the Woomelly plugin’s automatic synchronizations are running correctly.
What happens if cycles start but do not finish?
If this occurs, it indicates that automatic synchronizations are not running correctly. In this case, it is recommended to adjust the automatic synchronization configuration parameters or contact the technical support team.
What happens if there is a significant time difference between cycles (hours or days of difference)?
Again, this indicates that automatic synchronizations are not running correctly. To fix this, it is recommended to adjust the automatic synchronization configuration parameters or contact the technical support team.
» Notification Log
In this log, the data sent by our intermediate system, representing Mercado Libre’s automatic notifications, is stored. This log is informational and, for the moment, only stores the stock change when Mercado Libre orders are replicated as WooCommerce orders.
» Tool Log
In this log, the history of Mercado Libre orders detected by the Woomelly plugin is saved. This log is critical, as the stored information indicates whether the functionality to reduce stock or replicate orders from Mercado Libre is working correctly or not.
