Synchronization from Mercado Libre to WooCommerce: Bulk (General)

Synchronization from Mercado Libre to WooCommerce: Bulk (General)

Currently, we are working on a new, more optimized process that will replace the current “SYNCHRONIZATION FROM MERCADO LIBRE TO WOOCOMMERCE – BULK.” You can access this new process from the WordPress admin menu at the top of your store and share your feedback by emailing soporte@woomelly.com. Your opinion is very important to us.

This synchronization is recommended for first-time imports of your listings from Mercado Libre to WooCommerce or when making bulk changes to listings. After this synchronization, you can use the individual synchronization from the product detail or the synchronization from the product listing (bulk action in WP) to keep the information updated. You can use this bulk synchronization as many times as you wish.

The duration of the synchronization will depend on the number of listings and the service offered by the hosting or server. There’s no limit to the number of listings to use, but if you have more than 10.000 items, errors might occur, and you’ll need to restart the process, although it will be quicker in that case.

 IMPORTANT
We recommend using the Mozilla/Firefox browser for this synchronization, as it will allow you to see the progress without issues. Chrome can also be used, but sometimes the progress might not update even if the synchronization is ongoing.

This synchronization, found in the product detail, is used to update only the data of a product related to a Mercado Libre listing. Essentially, it is used on two occasions:

  • Solely to update the data after having previously synchronized with Mercado Libre using any of the existing methods.
  • When you have an existing listing on Mercado Libre and want to maintain the connection with the WooCommerce product.

For the latter, it’s necessary to follow a series of steps to correctly set up both elements. However, it’s always advisable to import it as a new product, especially when dealing with listings that have variations.

Synchronization from Mercado Libre to WooCommerce: Product Listing

This synchronization, found in the store’s product listing (bulk action of WordPress), is used to synchronize a set of products without affecting your WooCommerce store’s performance. It’s recommended to synchronize a maximum of 50 products at a time, as it is the default value recommended by WordPress bulk actions.

Just like in the previous case, your products should have been previously connected through a bulk (general) synchronization, either manually or automatically. If this hasn’t been done, we recommend you set up your listings as described in “Synchronization from Mercado Libre to WooCommerce: Individual“.

Remember that you can also force synchronization of images to overwrite existing images. For more details, refer to the “Re-synchronize Images” section.

Synchronization from Mercado Libre to WooCommerce: Automatic

For more details about this synchronization, click on this link. The automatic synchronization works in cycles that divide all the products into groups, and you define the execution time. This process is in addition to the one that checks sales and updates stock, both of which work independently.

Still have questions?

– Can listings that do not belong to the Mercado Libre seller linked to the store be imported?

Yes, it’s possible to import listings that don’t belong to the Mercado Libre account linked to the store. However, there are certain limitations, and continuous synchronization will not be done. It’s merely a data cloning process. If you need to do this, contact our support team for more details.

-Are all Mercado Libre listings imported into the store, or can they be selected?

By default, the Woomelly plugin fetches all active, paused, under review, and recently ended listings from the Mercado Libre account. However, it has filters that allow the seller to limit and select only the listings they want to replicate in the WooCommerce store.
